I have lived in Mission Woods with my husband, Paul, since October 2021. We have a son, Owen, and a daughter, Audrey, who are truly our pride and joy! We also have two chubby cats, Nucky and Turtle, who are well-known along our cul-de-sac. Before moving to Mission Woods we lived in the neighboring city of Westwood but have chosen the perfect place to raise our family within this wonderful community. Mission Woods offers a unique, small-town feel right on the edge of Kansas City.
Currently, I am working with UC-B Properties, a development company committed to revitalizing the urban core of Kansas City while implementing non-displacement strategies. Prior to that, I spent five years as the sales, marketing, and operations manager of a franchise of Merry Maids, and seven years in education, primarily as a high school history and broadcast journalism teacher in North Kansas City. I have a BA in Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a MA in Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Throughout the years, I have held several leadership and service positions and hope to continue along that path in my role as a city council member for Mission Woods.
